2403 NR. 7 Spencer Sweater

The sweater is knitted from top to bottom with 1 thread Sunday and 1 thread Tynn Silk Mohair.

Stitches are cast on for the back piece first. The back piece is worked back and forth with double pointed needles to form sloping shoulders. Knit up stitches for the front pieces,
which are knitted separately. Double crochets are worked to form a slanted shoulder on each of the front pieces and stitches are increased towards the neck. Knit up stitches for the sleeve and knit
double crochets over the sleeve stitches to shape the sleeve top. The work is then collected on a circular needle, and it is knitted back and forth with increases for the neck and sleeves. When the neckline is shaped, the work is knitted in the round and it is increased to raglan. When all the stitches have been increased, the work is divided into sleeves, the front and back piece, and the parts are finished knitting separately. The neckline is finally knitted and folded double towards the wrong side.

NEEDLES : 3 and 3½ mm circular plus small circular 3 and 3,5 mm for sleeves.
