The top is worked from the top down with European shoulders. The back is worked first, with the sloping shoulder line shaped using increases. Stitches are then picked up from the increase edges for the front pieces. After the front and back are joined, the body is worked in the round and the hem is finished with an i-cord bind-off.

The front and back edges are decorated with a lace pattern.
