Hugsy Hood Junior is a cool and stylish hood worked top-down in Kos, in one or two colours. Judy’s Magic Cast On gives a neat, seamless start, and the ribbed edges around the face and neck add both style and comfort. Choose your favourite shade or combine for a personal look! Can also be knitted in Poppy (pattern included).
Begin with the hood, and work from top down. Cast on sts with Judy`s Magic Cast On, to avoid visible seam at top of hood. For a more beginner friendly method, work regular cast on and sew parts tog at finishing. Shape of hood is created with turning rows, inc and dec. Cont to knit up sts at face edge, and work ribbing. At the end, cast on sts for the neckband, join tog with sts for hood and cont ribbing in rnds. For the two-color version, work edging at face edge and neckband in pattern col.
