Life in the Long Grass eli LITLG on syntynyt luomisen ilosta Irlannin maaseudulla. Life in the Long Grass värjää pienellä tiimillään jokaisen vyyhdin käsin tarkasti valikoiduista materiaaleista. LITLG valitsee värjäykseen langat huolellisesti eettisiltä tiloilta Uruguaysta, Perusta, Englannista, Argentiinasta, Ranskasta ja Portugalista. Nämä tilat ovat mulesing vapaita, eli lampaat saavat reilua ja ihmisläheistä hoitoa.

Life in the Long Grass tekee pikkutarkkaa ja huolellista työtä varmistaakseen laadun. Kaikki erät ovat siis niin lähellä toisiaan kuin käsinvärjätyissä langoissa vain voi olla. Myös työntekijöiden työturvallisuus on otettu värjäysprosessissa huomioon.

Life in the Long grass käyttää värjäyksessä myrkyttömiä happovärejä, ympäristöä vähän kuormittavia reaktiivivärejä sekä luonnollisia värejä. Värit kiinnitetään elintarvikelaatuisilla aineilla. Kaikki langat tuplakäsitellään niin, että niistä ei irtoa enää väriä. Samaa vettä käytetään useampaan kertaan ja näin minimoidaan turha kulutus.

LITLG värit ovat maanläheisiä ja sopivat moneen.
